My husband and I were newlyweds and Bragg was our first duty station together. With not a lot of time to find a place, we pretty much took the first nice looking place we found. My best advice is to LOOK AROUND! Sure Tamarack looks nice, but after living there and seeing the small things, such as: BUGS!, robbery, people walking through the parking lots at night, people going through dumpsters, and very two faced staff members. Dawn is someone that acts nice to your face but will talk about you to other neighbors. Yes, there are security systems...but, after my husband deployed, I did NOT feel safe at all! Not to mention, staff likes to just walk into your apartment because they ahve keys. I was walked in on many times after just getting out of the shower. And when i complained, I was told that they had a right to just walk in. I definately say, find another place. These apartments are not worth what you pay in rent. And they charge you out the wazoo, if you are Army. they are definately out for the money and could care less about taking care of business!
