I looked for a luxury apartment in Fayeteville for weeks, and nothing seemed good enough, until I found The Preserve. It is a little more expensive than most other places, but in my humble opinion its worth every penny. They have a floorplan for just about everyone, and some of them even have garages. The vaulted ceilings really make the place feel huge, and the garden tub was wonderful. On the rare occasion that we had a problem (there was this one time when the light in the bathroom kept going out all by itself) all I had to do was call the front office and they had a guy there to fix it in minutes. The only word of caution I would give is don't paint the walls. The apartments has nice neutral beige paint throughout, but my wife wanted to paint (so of course I did it). When we finally bought a house and moved out we had to repaint the whole apartment back to the way it was when we moved in. But that really wasn't much of a surprise. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, and any time we had a question or a problem they always went out of their way to help. They have a rather communal attitude there, with monthly pool parties and Christmass decoration contests. The pool is wonderful and you can arrange to use the clubhouse for parties.
