First of all, I don't know where some of you get off saying that the staff at The Village doesn't care about the Military...Obviously you don't know what your talking about...In case you haven't noticed we all (yes I am an employee) are military wives...I know some of you were complaining about our military clause, but you have it all wrong...Our military clause does cover PCS ans ETS orders with a simple 30 day notice to vacate...now I understand that sometimes it ends up being a little more than 30 days...it could be as much as like 45 or 60 days depending on what time of the month that you put your notice in...I have worked for this company for two years and that has been in this military clause for as long as I have been here...And now as an added bonus we also include deployment orders that state more than 90 days...It is not up to us what goes in our military clause...we do what fort bragg housing tells us that we have to do...so if you have a problem then you should take it up with them...the reason that they make the rules like this is because when all of you military guys get deployed you are still collecting BAH so you should still be able to keep your homes...I also understand that a lot of the wives choose to move home...I know this because I did it...when my husband was deployed I moved back home...and guess what...I still had to follow the same rules...I had to put in my proper notice of a minimum of 30 days and I had to give them a copy of my husbands deployment orders...Another thing that I don't understand is that you gave us such bad ratings, but Morganton Place's residents praised them...we have the exact same floorplans...and prices are almost exactly the same...same amenities...the only thing that we don't have are Trudy, Sarah, and Mandi...but what we do have are three hardworking staffmembers who will go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable in your stay...if you're looking for a new home you can call me personally and I will do whatever I can to help...
