Wow, I don't even know where to start. The main leasing manager, makes you feel very uncomfortable and intimidated. She acts very different when select ethnicities enter her office. Other leasing agents are fired/quit like a change of undergarments. They are not ontop of their records, at all. There was supposed to be "change" with the new owners.... so far we have a security guard walking the grounds at night... he's probably sixty and is over weight. Not sure how much good that will do. The staff/maintance are very lazy with putting up notices, unless there is some kind of fee that you owe. The entire apartment complex was getting new smoke alarms... and getting our fireplaces vaccuumed... at the end of summer. I never received a notice (only ONE building out of 10 or so did).. let me tell you how awkward it is for your husband to be deployed, and some 40 year old man comes barging into your apartment when you are in the shower. Had I the money... this would have been a lawsuit. Thankfully, I have my animals in cages... or else they would've bit the fireplace cleaners/escaped. Each apartment unit has a security alarm... however TVAC canceled the service. :-) How comforting. The apartment is seperated by a fence to a VERY bad part of town. The fence is cut down daily by the citizens in said part of town. The "dog park" is next to this frequent opening... the people on the other side have verbally threatened my animals (and quite a few other tenants as well) and also have physically thrown rocks at us. The "pet policy" here states that there are no vicious breeds (specifically pits, rotts, chows, and dobermans)... funny thing is I have a vicous pit bull below me (whom shows teeth and growls everytime I enter my building), two rottweilers across the hall... and a chowchow in the next building. I can support the statement of people not "curbing" their animals. Five pairs of shoes have been ruined by just getting the mail. The police are here about 5 times a weekend. Mostly because of noise. It is ridiculous. Before my neighbor moved, a drunk driver (well, drunk neighbor) hit her car, and it slammed into her daughters car... he didnt report it, but evidence was part of his car was sitting next to the scene. Several license plates are stolen and cars are broken into. My neighbors apartment was broken into when she first moved in.. and several have come after that. Other incidents include a rape and armed assults (to confirm this, there were notices on our doors. a first!) Not only do they replace your broken appliances with older models.... my refridgerator door was replaced with a different color and a big crack down the side. Thanks, TVAC! My neighbors foot went through her tub... they used a "glue" to fix it.. and advised her not to take baths anymore. If you are wanting an apartment by the "pond"... have fun walking through the goose feces. The geese population is ridiculous.. and is a complete pain to drive in the parking lot with 50 geese walking around. OH!! Dont let the advertising fool you. The tennis court has never been open.. the volleyball court is a patch of green tar (thats the only word i can use to describe it) with old holes from past poles, I suppose. Half of the equipment in the "GYM" is broken... and thats 10 pieces of equipment. The carpet is very cheap... my dyson literally sucks up pieces all the time. PLEASE read police reports/crime rates in this area before you move in... or atleast own a gun!!! (Included is a picture of the mold in one hallway!)

My husband and I lived at the Village of Cliffdale when we first moved to Fayetteville. This review is VERY accurate! On your initial tour of the apartments you do not notice all the flaws but it doesn't take long after you move in to realize how horrible this place is. There is goose poop and dog poop all over the grounds, the gym facilities are in disrepair and worst of all is the crime in the area. Noise is constantly a problem and break ins are rampant. Take this persons advice and check the area's crime report before you move in. It IS NOT A SAFE AREA!
