Horrible!!!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002
Upon moving my fiance' whom was deployed for 8 months to Afghanistan, I gave proper notice that he request that I go ahead and move to save us money. The apartment would not release him from his lease. I was treated as a thief for moving him out. Not to mention the fact that the apartment had the distinct odor of animal urine from previous renters. My fiance had already left my name and telephone number as contact for the apartment, but I was not treated in a pleasant manner. Heather, the manager was very abrupt in her manner and tone, which she never indicated there would be a problem until I drove 3 hours to turn the keys in and I was third-degreed over the whole matter. If they had communicated any kind of policy that they personally needed to hear from my fiance', they should have stated so at the time I gave notice. I was able to have contact with him at that time, but he had since moved to a different location in which it is impossible to communicate other than by letter. I was very disappointed that they would treat my fiance and myself in this manner while he is willing to risk his life for this country!
