I had high hopes when I moved here!! I have never lived somewhere where the neighbors were so inconsiderate. I have a six month lease and can't wait till it's up so I can move.

It is with our deepest concern that one of our residents is unhappy. Especially when she knows that we have contacted the resident above her and ask them to please show consideration to the neighbors around their apt. We do have guidelines that we ask ALL of our residents to abide by however, it is in the latest version of the AANC Lease that we can not guarantee that there will be no noise , and as I said earlier, we do our best to encourage all of our residents to be courteous to each other. In response to the ratings this resident has given, we have recently paved an area of the street that did cause a little inconvenience for approx. 6 days, but our residents were informed well in advance of the construction so they could plan an alternate route to their apartment. Our maintenance is very conscious and almost always responds to service request within a 4 hour time frame. The exception to this is if something has to be ordered or, if the request is scheduled for a later time with the resident. Service request are by request of the resident only or by another resident who might notify the office of a possible problem. The office staff is here to assist our residents in any way possible and I am very sorry that we have not been able to meet the expectations of this resident. We are very happy to say that we do have a lot of residents who love Village Gate and are happy to call our community "home". This is very evident by their length of stay that ranges from 1 to 23 years. I do wish that we could assure all of our residents of a pleasant stay here, but unfortunately we can not control the habits of everyone. We appreciate ALL of our residents and with their understanding and assistance will continue to strive to keep Village Gate Apts. GREAT! Kindest regards, Karen Valenzuela, Property Mgr.
