They are friendly at beinning and cold at the time you move out. Watch your deposite adn you might never get it back even you should. They are there to make sure you get nothing back.

When we left they were wonderful and sad to see us go. We also got our entire deposit back with no problem - just a little elbow grease!

Thank you to the above previous resident for supporting what is our usual move out for residents. In respose to the original post, each resident is given a list of items that they could be charged for upon their move-out, and if the apartment is not left cleaned or should there be above normal wear and tear damages then those charges will apply. Unfortunately, the resident who originally posted this review did not leave the apartment in the condition in which they moved into it and do not understand that a carpet stained with markers, koolaid, bleach, etc. is not considered normal wear and tear by any community. Damages were charged based upon the depreciated replacement value only. Most of our residents take pride in their apartment here at Village Gate and thankfully we seldom have to apply charges after they leave. I am sure that this resident would not allow destruction of this type if they owned their own property, so I am not sure why they allowed this type of disrespect in someone else's property. I am truly sorry that this resident has left our community on a sour note and have in the process put a negative comment about us on this site. I feel very sure that future residents will understand that we are all responsible for what we do, whether it is good or bad and sometimes we have to own up to our responsibilities.
