Me and my husband lived there for about 6 months, I guess paying a little extra money for a "new" model apartment had it's advantages, the rooms, bathrooms, cabinets and floors were really neat overall. We moved out recently because we bought our first home. Although, we had a fairly pleasant time while living there. But, there were some things that bothered us. First, the apartment was extremely dusty all the time, it was probably the fact that they never cleaned the air vents once, so, it can become a hassle if you live there for a while, be ready to dust 24/7. When it rains, it gets really muddy, if you have a pet like we did, it becomes a problem. Another thing was that sometimes at night, you can see thugs playing loud music and just walking around, since just about everyone can get in without problem. But, our main complaint and the thing that bothered us the most, was the upstairs people. DON'T RENT A FIRST FLOOR APARTMENT! It really sucks. You can hear every single step they take, and it sounds like they are actually stomping on the floor. They had a toddler, and that made things much worse. There's not much you can really do about it, because the ceilings are so thin! So... my recomendation for anyone moving there, get a 2nd floor apartment, believe me, you'll have a little bit more peace if you do.
