I'm a military wife, and they really worked with us. We got an apartment ASAP and we lived there for only 5 months because of a deployment... but in that time we only had 1 roach (spiders a bit though). I knew other people in other buildings who had roach issues, so I suppose it really depends on your neighbors and how dirty/clean they are. We didn't have a loud neighbor, but when someone was house sitting for him we could hear through the walls pretty well (just happens when you live next door to someone with only walls seperating). We had a good amount of space in the 2 bedroom, 1&1/2 bath and the closets were huge. The lofted masterbedroom was pretty cool too but really meant you couldn't have much in your bedroom furniture wise. Parking wasn't much of an issue for us. Security.. well you are on your own to look out for yourself and the sliding back door made me feel scared when I was there by myself sometimes. I didn't like living so close to the mall either because there are always hobos around that area, so it was slightly discomforting to be so close to that mess. Overall, I loved the apartment we had despite the feeling of insecurity and the management was nice. Applications fees weren't over-the-top awful either, thank goodness!
