Woodstream Apartments wasn't as nice as the place we lived before (Jamestown Commons), but we moved there to save money and I think it was worth it. The office staff was nice, and responded to any problems. We never really had an problems until the night before we turned in the keys. We had the maintenance guys come turn off the water to the washer and unhook it for us. Well over night there was a leak. I lived in one of the town homes, so the washer was upstairs. And the leak traveled and we had a huge bubble above the dining room area. So we called maintenance again and they determined it wasn't our fault, so we had no problems when it came to the move out inspection. One of the maintenance guys was kinda crabby and grumpy, but the office staff said he's like that all the time.
Oh I did just remember that we did see a few cochroaches when we first moved in, but never saw them again after that. So I'm not sure if they just didn't keep up with pest treatments at first or what. We also had some problems with the kitchen sink leaking, but they came in and fixed it. There was some mold under the sink though. They put something on it, and told us to let it dry out, then they came and put like a vinyl lining in there. Our water heater went bad at one point, but then they came into replace it. The idiot that did it though forgot to turn off the water, but I think he's been replaced. You can tell the place is old though because its really hard to get stuff upstairs because the stairway is so narrow. The kitchen was also too small for my liking. But really, I lived in a much worse place in Raleigh before I got married, so I didn't complain much.
