As a former resident I feel the need to write yet another review about Abberly. I'm convinced that this is THE best place to live in Raleigh area. Read reviews of other apts and you will notice all the negativity. The rent is higher here for a reason - there are no negatives! My experiences: called about heating-maintenance came to apt next am, pool closed for cleaning-reopened within 2 days, super friendly and professional staff that feel more like friends (namely Kris, Crystal, Lance and Heather) and that knows me and my family personally, very quiet (so quiet I almost didn't like living there at first because I'm used to noise being from NYC), upscale community (so upscale it's almost snooty :)), the landscaping is that of luxury and kept immaculately, the quality of the construction in my apt was first-rate, well-insulated and appliances, counter-tops, cabinets, carpet were top-notch. I was only the 2nd tenant to live in that spacios apt (they're new) and it felt like I was the first because they cleaned it up so well. I felt extremely safe living there, Time Warner treats all apts as business clients because of partnership with Abberly so u only pay $54 for cable and hi-speed internet and u get that as soon as you move in as opposed to ordering service from Time Warner and having to wait 4 days for the cable guy to come out and connect you. Also when my modem blew out during a storm, they came out the next day instead of 3-4 days later because they said we were business clients. There's a shopping mall and movie theater right in your backyard and both the mall and Abberly are expanding to offer billiards, a walking path, another pool, etc. I-40 is like 2mins just up the corner and I hear they're about to start offering valet trash service(so you won't have to take out your own garbage). When you look at all the benefits of living here, the rent is just right. By the way, do you know what you would pay for an apt like this in NYC'

I agree! I moved from Abberly in April of this year and have missed it ever since. We moved due to the rent hike they had - but like you said, I would gladly pay the extra to be there again!! It truely is the best place I have ever lived
