Good grief...my previous post was just my opinion. All the responses I received just because I made a decision that was right for me has made me happy that I chose not to live at a community with a bunch of snobs. I didn't say the community was horrible--it just wasn't for me. It's an opinion folks--get over yourselves!

Should this be a reliable post if you did not live at the apartments?

It is an honest opinion of my visit and experience with this complex. I visited because of the other postings and do not feel that my visit matched the expectations that were set forth by the other comments.

I see nothing wrong with the post - their comments will help others make a decision. It's suspicious that "someone" (management?) isn't happy with an unfavorable rating. Thank you to the person who posted for sharing your experiences.

I just moved in here at Abberly Place and I love it. I don't know what other community this person picked, but nothing in the area compares to the way that the apartments looked, the awesome extras you get (two pools, gorgeous clubhouse, etc.), and the BEST LOCATION out of anything within 30 miles. Actually, even the price that I got was comparable to those of the other complexes. I strongly recommend this place for anyone who wants to live in a TRUE luxury apartment with great neighbors.

How can you rate an apartment when you have not lived there? How do you know how the parking is, how maintenance issues are handled, how the noise is, or the safety is, if you have not lived here?

In response to the Anonymous post date 07/10/2008...I don't think that it's appropriate to imply that just because someone thinks that this post is unreliable and therefore unfair that the writer must be the management. I'm a resident and I think it's unreliable and unfair. As a resident, I can accurately agree with the Anonymous post dated 07/16/08 and can attest that this community is wonderful and one of the nicest and best run in all of Wake County (I've lived in several places myself and have read reviews for [thanks to this site!] and visited even more). Also as a resident, I don't appreciate someone making assumptions about the community that I'm proud to call my home based on a couple of visits and not actually living here. It is worth a little extra money to live in a beautiful, brand-new, well-maintained complex that has a friendly staff, wonderful amenities, considerate fellow residents (my neighbors were horribly irresponsible, and consequently RUDE at my past apt.), and where I feel very safe due to the good lighting and neatly trimmed shrubs. I work in North Raleigh (near Wake Forest) and in Fuquay-Varina on alternating days and have lived in this area for almost five years, so I am very familiar with a large portion of the county and it's rental property options; Abberly Place at White Oak Crossing is by far the nicest overall establishment that I have lived in.

I hope nobody even pays attention to this post. For those of us who ACTUALLY LIVE HERE, we love it! My husband and I actually got a bargain on my apartment considering everything that is included. I don't know if I'll ever want to move!

"chose not to live at a community with a bunch of snobs?" I don't see anything in any of these responses that is snobby in any way whatsoever. I'm surprised you have time to get on here and update your response over and over. Must be that the apartment complex that you work at isn't too busy....... You should try living here before you say that you "don't recommend it." That's a bit strange honestly!

Actually, I live here and I'm not too fond of this place. The apartment is too small and absolutely no storage, except for a few shelves in the laundry room. Plus, I get almost no natural light due to the ceiling on the balcony and I'm in a 3rd floor apartment. I also noticed some buildings have better parking situations than others. I live in a section where there is another building directly across from me and when I come home from work at night I can't find anything near my apartment. This may be fine for some people but when my lease runs out I will be looking elsewhere. This may be the nicest complex in Garner but definitely not in Wake County.
