I mean its okay. Ima a movie buff so the fact that a movie theather is right in my backyard is awesome but the rent is high and my neighbors complian about the slightest noise the walls are paper thin. I've been already looking at places on craigslist and in the apartment book and Im relizing I have been paying way too much to live here. I meas sure they throw in internet and cable for 50 bucks extra a month, but its really not worth being here. I spend more time at other ppls places partyin then my own place because my dumbass neighbors are bored stuck up snobs that think their s**t dont stink. Its way too conservative out here for me. I might just go crazy on my neighbors if they come knockin on my door or I get another letter from that gaytard ------that guy needs to get laid or something he has too much time on his hands. Either way im gettin a lawyer to try to break this lease as soon as I find another apartment suitable for me.

Lived here?

This person is right... The staff at this complex are wolves in sheep clothing. If they decide you aren't welcome, that's when they become the KKK. Also, many women have been made victim by an incident in which a man was FLASHING people from his balcony. This neighborhood looks so good but the looks hide a lot of dark, creepy, hateful things...

Are you out of your mind??!! I am young and ----- and Abberly was one of my favorite places to live. I am also from the Bronx, NY so living here was a 360 degree lifestyle change which is a GOOD thing! I also at one time had over 8 guests at the pool with me (all young and -----) and this very same "racist" ------said it was ok. The entire staff was professional and pleasant. Does everything have to be a racial issue? Get over YOURSELF and enjoy living in a beautiful apt in a safe, quiet neighborhood!

Okay...I have lived at Abberly Place since they first opened. I have worked with people in the office the entire time. I know the manager really well and I have to disagree with everything you have put in your review. I think you were probably evicted for something you did wrong. I am a mother of two, I am also ----- and I dare you to tell me that I am just trying to please the white man. As for your alleged discrimination at the pool...did it ever cross your mind that they might know their tenants and also know which ones don't belong...there is more to your story than you have put down. I will tell you that the people in the office are quick to solve a problem. They don't put up with riff raff and if you are wrong on doing something, they don't turn the other cheek. I am personally glad that they don't. It helps me raise my boys to be better people. There is an consequence to your actions. I am guessing you got evicted for breaking rules that violated other people's rights. Don't go blame it on racism...blame yourself. I love it here...my family and friends love it here and management is fair.

It's obvious you ALSO are some sort of white-man pleasing--------------- or what I like to call an "Oreo". For your information I still live on the property and do follow all the rules. I was told I could have as many people as I would like at the pool and as a result I brought two people compared to other parties 20 people. Now you weren't there so don't give me that "they know their tenets" cause when they left only about 5 of them walked back to the apartment while the rest took off in their cars. I have a pool side view so trust I was watching to see if they did live here. Sadly to say I have to deal with the staff and a community of people like you who think this place is golden and it is not. All of you need to get off your high white horses and get over yourselves....I have my opinion of the place as I have a right to and my opinion I say this place sucks and the staff, not all, are judgmental. I have already reported the staff to so many different equal housing opportunities and about to send one to their corporate offices. I may be young to be out on my own but I know when I am treated unfairly and have felt like I have been for the past few months and therefore I am taking action and standing up for myself and no allowing their behavior towards me to continue any longer. So if that makes me the oddly strange tenet that doesn't like Abberly Place fine then, who cares. If some one was treating your boys or even your self unfairly you wouldn't just let them continue regardless of race. It a matter of treating every one fairly and principal. For example i walked my dog without a lease at night cause no one is outside a 3am and I receive a letter a letter about it and was like okay, no big deal I'll put him on the leash for now on. Why was it the next day I saw a guy walking his dog without a leash in the afternoon right in front of management and you know what they did, they waved and pet the dog. Does that sound fair to you? Doesn't to me.
