I lived at Bryan Woods almost 5 years. Hunt Properties the owners when I moved in were pretty good. At least when I reported problems in the apartment it was fixed. I can't say this about Lexington Asset Management the new owners. Their staff is rude, report a problem and it is not taken seriously. There is a HUGE, HUGE problem with roaches. At least when Hunt Properties owned the complex I did not have an infestation of these pest. I can only speak from my own experiences with this new owner. Please if you are a clean person and don't want to see roaches in your living environment don't waste your money living in this complex. It isn't even worth Section 8 living standards. Lexington Asset Management is only in it for the money, but don't care about the housing laws other than when it is time to collect the rent and they are really good about quoting THEIR RIGHTS. I see where Lexington Asset Management owns another property in Raleigh, the reviews there aren't so great either.

This is the only property management company I've ever dealt with who does not acknowledge that a contract/lease is binding both ways. I can deal with most anything and I think I am a patient persson, but can't stand it when someone clearly takes me for a FOOL. DON'T MOVE TO BRYAN WOODS - YOU DESERVE BETTER!! SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV

I WILL AGREE - Bryan Woods is a DUMP - poorly managed, the owners are in it for the cash they can steal from the residents, poor maintenance, poor office staff, hunt management was marginal at best, however it was poor also. but lexington is by far the worse operated management company ever. their entire staff lacks finese, style, charm, talent, and most importanly real estate skills. why bother to rent here - hence why I moved out last month.

We sold our 200 sq foot home in benson and rehted an apartment here. When we arrived with the moving truck the apartment was not cleaned nor the entire apartment. We were devistated and our daughter was in tears. We were shown a really clean apartment ,new looking and told ours would be just the same. We did not have to move or sell our house. Soon the upstairs neighbors were banging music and after I complained to the office. Three big black guy stopped in my truck just drivig through and they threatened to kill me. I called the Police and they acted like he didnt do anything and advised us to move. I guess the police are afraid of the gangs leader. Garner cops are on the take to let those puncks run the area.We broke the lease and hired a lawyer. No choice when our life was on the line, because i was not going to ----- out like those garner Cops did. The apartments are a fire hazard and in you air is gone youd better buy a window unit because they will not fix your problems for months.
