We have been residents over 14 yrs...quality of residents has shifted and complaints have risen over noise levels and lack of respect for other residents and general lack of courtesy to neighbors. Change from 20 lb weight limit on dogs to no weight limit at all has brought in large breed dogs with problems over owners not cleaning up dog waste and letting dogs outside without being on a leash, causing multiple letters of warning going out from office staff since odor and children not being able to play in grassy areas became a problem. Some staff appears to care about problems while others give off feeling that they really can't be much help other than offer to send out more warning letters to entire complex. Since living here have had carpets replaced and interior painted several years ago but no upgrade as to lighting, cabinets, etc like they have done in the past when getting an apt ready after a resident moves out. Programs like Community Watch and Social get-togethers, prettiest porch/deck contests, etc had been dropped. Newsletter went from neighborhood community news to list of manager/maint. staff and general tips. Overall, quality of upkeep has dropped since we first moved in, however, we still feel relatively safe and comfortable here. Tennis court has deteriorated greatly...kids use area for playing, skateboarding, bike riding & dog owners let dogs exercise inside the fenced tennis court area. Apt ofc says no repairs to tennis court due to lack of money. Overall, property is landscaped nicely, apts are comfortable and near shopping, hospital & restaurants, etc. Maintenance does good job and gets to you quickly on priority requests.
