My lease was up in January 08 and I received a bill stating I owed them to replace the carpets because of "pet stains" (rediculous). Within 5 days, I wrote them a letter disputing the validity of the charges and never heard anything back, thinking the issue was resolved. Six monthes later I get calls from a collection agency demanding their money. I immediately called Brentwood's corporate office and they refused to speak with me-- saying they got my letter and made their decision to keep the charges, but "sorry to not inform you". Created a huge mess and now my credit is affected because of it.
