Me and two of my friends moved into The Landings without researching it at all. Upon moving in the garbage disposal was broken. The "maintence man" who looks more like a 70's porn star than someone who could fix anything promised to ix it promptly. His version of promptly was about a month. After he finally fixed it broke again and even after constant calls to the office to have it repaired again, they refused. Also the people next door constantly blarred music, the people upstairs stomped around like idiots at all hours, the walls and ceilings must be paper thin. The management refuses to do anything other than to tell you to call the police. Security is also an issue, at 3am me and my room mates were woken by a man banging on the doors of everyone in our complex, he had got in because the main door to the complex was jammed open. After reporting this and pleading with them to fix the door, we were only asked if we called the police, then they told us they were fixing them building by building, which is close to what they said about replacing the foul smelling carpets in the hallways.Along with this, the drywall appears to have been done by morons, poor patching and sags in the roof and walls. Just before moving out the washer in the laundry room broke and let water flood the majority of it, nothing ever done, surprising! This place is in a word- Horrid!

I find it difficult to believe that management would "refuse" to fix an appliance. Obviously you had a problem with everybody around you but yet YOU were the perfect resident, right?! And why didn't you call the police?!
