I lived at The Landings for a little over 4 months. The first 2 1/2 months I had no air with the tempatures outside reaching up to 75-80 degrees. I called the maintenance men several times and never got a phone call back. I had to go down to the office 3 or 4 times and after several times of them stringing me along they finally came to fix it. The doors on the outside were SUPPOSED to be locked at all times but people were lazy and left them unlocked. Again the management was told about the problems but NOTHING was done about it. After these incidents, children throwing rocks at my car, and my car getting stolen from the parking lot I just didn't feel safe and didn't feel I was getting the respect I deserved so I broke my lease. I was told to come on a certain date and when I showed up the ladies in the office were not there and planned to be out all week but failed to tell me that. So I preceded to go back a week later when they returned and they were just exremely rude and very disorganized. I as also supposed to get my security deposit back but I'm assuming they were mad that I broke my lease that they made up this story saying that I trashed the place before I left. Needless to say I would not stay there ever again even if someone paid the rent for me.

Why would you get your security deposit back if you broke your lease, you stupid cow! New maintenance team is awesome; never had to wait longer than 24 hours for ANYTHING! I've lived in the building across the parking lot from the office for almost 2 years and have NEVER known it to be closed during regular business hours, but you're saying it was closed for a week?! Liar!! Sounds like you actually DID trash the place...sound a little bitter, looser!

This place is the least professional palce in Gastonia. One regular apartment building, where people pay regular rent, surrounded by numerous section 8 apartments. Apartment manager/idiot Pam Ali is a rude, fat, disorganized -----; along with her disorganized unprofessional cohort "Candida." They obviously have a 5th grade education and act accordingly. This place is a joke. Don't rent from here or you would be a fool, especially if you are not on section 8.
