The Oaks is a decent place to live. But it is the most expensive on the block but gives you pretty much the same as all the other apartments. It's not worth the rent. When I first moved in the neighbors were very loud and ghetto. Then they increased the rent and ran the ghetto folks out. The walls are thin like paper. The plumbing is pathetic. Every sink leaks and every drain is slow. It takes fifteen minutes for the water to dissolve after a shower. By the way the apartments are over thirty years old. From the outside you can't tell but the bad plumbing and old fixtures give it away. One entire side of the apartment doesn't have windows (that includes the bathroom). Other than that it's a okay place to live.
