I would never ever recommend moving your family to the Oaks. I can't wait to undo one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. I should have known what I was walking into the weekend I had planned on moving. When I viewed the apartment it was during the week, I have since learned to do this on the weekend. On the weekends there thug looking teenagers EVERYWHERE they dont even reside there but will never go away. Its always so trashy. Moving day I get there and there is water soaked the hallway carpet which things happen I understand but the whole apartment was absolutely filthy. Management did have cleaning lady to visit again because I refused to move in until they did. The cleaning lady could barely understand what I wanted her to clean because the poor lady didnt speak a lick of english, like the majority of the tenants. Almost every night I awake to gun shots, teenagers playing on the playground till 2am. Of course I mentioned all of this to Management and they posted a sign HA most of these juvenile delinquents cant read or choose to ignore the thing. Last year the pool was closed the entire season because it was faulty, but swore it would be open by Memorial Day. That was a joke in itself. The Management team kept lying to the residents as to when it would be open. Finally September it reopened a wasted summer. These apartments are really old. The walls are thin can hear everything. And the windows might as well be plastic because they are crappy as well. I just really hate it there and counting the days of my release from a little slice of Gastonia Hell! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax

well, if you live there is becuase that's all you can afford, so don't -----/complain becuase you get what you pay for!!
