I honestly don't understand the bad reviews of Legacy posted up here. I have lived here since Aug 06 and have loved every minute of it. The apartments are nice, new, clean and spacious. The pool is very nice and has plenty of seating all the time. The gym is nicer than the ones on base and is open 24 hrs a day. Parking is open, but it is never difficult to find a spot.

The staff has been nothing but friendly and helpful in my experience. I wanted my carpet cleaned after signing a new lease and they scheduled it right away and paid for it. I have had hardly any maintenance issues at all.

As in any apartment complex, people need to be aware of their surroundings. I have never felt unsafe at Legacy. I keep my door locked at all times, and make sure I'm aware when I park at night, but these are normal precautions people should take.

It's not 100% quiet here, but I can't hear my neighbors through the walls. It is normal in any apartment complex to hear the people around you occasionally. I still think my place is a very quiet and peaceful.

It sounds like some of the people on this forum do not take very good care of their apartments. That would be the only explanation for such high bills once they move out. I keep my place immaculate as I know it's a RENTED apartment and it does not belong to me. Therefore, I take good care of it. Another thing to mention is that they offer various lease options. Being a military town, this is a very good thing for those of us who move quite often.

I would recommend Legacy to anyone.

This is obviously a STAGED comment...no one who actually lives at Legacy at Berkeley Place would actually make any of the above comments. These apartments are the FURTHEREST THING FROM BEING SAFE. They are located next to a very unsafe trailor park where shootings have been reported and crime occurs often. The people who live in this trailor park have been walking over to legacy and vandalizing the club house and harrassing the residents by covering their peep holes and checking the doors in attempt to enter the residents homes. The office staff and grounds staff are very helpful and seem to be the only ones who care. The management staff in BOTH the office and maintenance could care less about anyone who resides here. As far as NOISE LEVEL YOU CAN HEAR EVERYTHING FROM YOUR NEIGHBORS. Quiet is not a word I would use to descibe these apartments. It is obvious that the companies only concern is making their pockets fatter. It has been suggested and requested before that the company make that property gated and still they REFUSE even with the knowledge of the vandals and the harrassment of residents. Oh, and the apartments are cheaply made and maintained. Cheap carpet, cheap fixtures, cheap cabinets, and CHEAP EVERYTHING. I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NEVER RENTING AN APARTMENT HERE!!!!!!

I just checked this place's sister, The Reserve at Bradbury, and it seems to look exactly the same, but no neighboring trailer park, the closest thing is actually the Church of Love, lol, but they had electronic key fobs that you needed to get in anywhere, so it seems very safe. Parking seems about the same, unless you purchase a garage. The materials don't look cheap, the bathtub, even in the 1 bdroom is HUGE!
