I have lived at the Legacy apartments for about 1 1/2 years. I think it is absolutely ridiculous to read some of the reviews. Did you know how much you were going to pay on the day you signed your lease' Did you know what the pet fees were when you brought your dog to live at these apartments' Did you know there was limited parking because you can see all the cars all around the buildings all the time' Did you know you were moving into a building with about 20 other apartments and you would probably hear some noise' Did a security guard accompany you from the day you moved in to insure your safety' Did your mother teach you to take some responsibility' Be real people ..... You are supposed to be adults, this isn't a dorm room. The office and maintenance has their hands full with very demanding tenants. I have been in the office when one of you were yelling, yes yelling at the manager because your mail was mixed up and you were expecting something important. Did you think about calling the post office' I have been in the office when you came in mad because your hot water heater quit working and didn't understand why the maintenance guy didn't follow you back up to your apartment right then, although he was working on an air conditioner at the moment, but the office manager explained it would be taken care of that same day ... and I'm willing to bet it was. I've been in the office when you have requested help getting something upstairs or out of your car or directions, and yes, someone actually helped you. I have seen the office staff, all of the office staff work hard to get a party together or collect cans for a food drive or even gloves and blankets for the shelter at Christmas and they have also just smiled at you when you make comments about how nice it would be to just sit in the office all day and wait for people to bring them money. Grow up people, take some responsibility. If you break it, your going to pay for it, if you don't take care of it, you are going to pay for it. That's normal, that's the world. But if you are looking for a better place to live in Goldsboro than the Legacy, you will not find it. I plan on staying another 2 years and buying a house, and then I will have no one to blame for everything I break except myself! p.s. the office staff is not rude, they just have their hands full dealing with ungrateful tenants all day.

You sound like you are one of the office staff, always in the office while the "real" tenants were complaining...hmmm? When you are going to list your apartments as "luxury apartments" and expect us to pay well over a thousand dollars a month then you should take care of business! We work hard for our money especially in this hard economic times!

Gee!!! You have been in the office a lot!!!! But you don't seem to have been living in one of those apartments bearing with people upstairs doing their laundry at 11pm or getting drunk or just walking... You do seem to be one of the owners or something, otherwise you should get yourself a life instead of spending all your time at the office!!!
