Im an avid renter, and I enjoy the goldsboro area, but if you choose to rent DO NOT rent at oak brook!!! Since Im a newlywed for myself and my wife Security was a major problem since there are bushes in the back and sides of the buildings and she works at night , noise level is loud. You don't have an assigned parking place so at night it is a problem. Theres a swimming pool that is closed even most of the summer. You have to watch where you step because theres dog poop in the grass area. Terrible office staff. VEry Expensive for the poor sevice and living conditions.

Mean...I am a responsible pet owner and a renter at a complex in Va. People who have pets shoudl pick up after themselves and their pets. It's rude and objectionable to expect other people to put up with your lack of character and manners if you think it is appropriate to let your pet crap all over the property without picking it up. And for the money people pay for rent...that does not include the added *bonus* of stepping in crap.

I do clean up after my pet, but I have enough common sense to LOOK WHERE I STEP because not every piece of ---- comes from a pet. We have foxes here who like to crap in the play area at night and the dog owners get the blame. Plus, there are dogs from the surrounding areas that like to browse theu the complex, smelling where the other dogs have been, and the crap wherever they want to.
