These apratments are old, (1970's) and have mildew. The manager, Kim Parrish, is sweet as can be until you give your notice, then she transforms into a hateful -----. Forget about getting your deposit back. They will nitpick until they find every possible scratch in order to justify keeping your deposit.
I lived there 3 years.

You have to pay $25 for a pool key. Now why do you have to PAY EXTRA for something that you are already paying for INCLUDED in your rent' The tennis court, which they advertise as "club-style amenities" is a patch of ashpalt with a chain link fence around it. The "court" is full of holes, the net rotting and falling down, and the device to keep the lights on at night doesn't work.

There is a swamp about 50 yards away circling the complex that stays full of water except for the very very dry times. It's full of snakes - they look for water when the summer gets dry. I have found one snake by my front door and another one in the parking lot.

There are mice and roaches - some 3 and 4 inches long. They will show you the "beautiful apartment" in the day time. Be sure to come back at NIGHT when you can see for yourself the roaches crawling all over the patios and up and down the brick walls and in the pine straw.

Unless yo don't mind living in a ghetto, then pass on by. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of apartment dwellings to choose from in our small community, so most of the time people just put up with crap like this, and the military guys tolerate it long enough to PCS outta here. They keep the grass mowed, the bushed trimed, and the place real nice and clean and most people are suckered by the beautiful outside appearance!
