I have been living here for some time and it's a total nightmare. It seems the rest of the apartments here are rented out to the loudest and dirtiest people they can find.
Trash covers the ground, from beer bottles to dirty diapers.
There are people outside all hours of the night honking their horns, playing loud music, drinking, and getting high.
Almost no lighting in the parking lots and it is totally unsafe to leave your apartment late at night.
Cops are here very frequently. No punishment for residents causing problems.
Have seen quite a few fires here due to old wiring.
Absolutely no upkeep AT ALL. No pest control, no carpet cleaning, no wall painting...nothing. The wires have not been updated since I've been here, almost 20 years ago.
The laundry rooms are filled with broken machines, rats and tons of insects. No lighting.
The AC units are old and cannot cool the apartments adequately. On a 90 degree day, it will be 85 inside. Duct work is filthy and old. Desperately needs to be redone.
Carpet has not been changed or cleaned in years. The padding is completely gone. Carpet is stained from apartment fixtures such as leaky water heater.
NO HANDYMAN. The owners REFUSE to do any kind of work at all.
Kitchen cabinets are stripped, water-damaged from old pipes, and falling apart. Will not repair or replace.
Windows are broken and will not raise.
Paint chipping all over the place.
No lighting in hallways - VERY UNSAFE.
This is not a bad neighborhood, but due to the total lack of responsibility of owners, there are drug dealers and all manner of thugs that walk the property at all hours of the night. VERY UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN.
Countless break-ins, car thefts, and other incidents.
Overall, this is a terrible place to live and I would never recommend this place to anyone. We have no landlord...the company who owned us went under, so nothing gets done and the place remains a filthy cesspool. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
