Okay, maybe this isnt totally fair since I'm still upset about my last talk w/ the apartment manager and other staff member, but I'm absolutely annoyed about their behavior towards my situation, which they really did cause...but say you were to pay your rent late, I mean, you submit it on time, by the 5th and you post date your check to, let's say hypathetically, to the 9th (and you note it, add late fees everything), just expect them to cash it on time by the 5th or the 6th if the 5th was on a Sunday, cause you to overdraft w/ your bank, and still charge you the late fee!!! Yeah, so obviously the staff arent as caring or attentive as they pretend to be, even if you called and pointed all that out, after the fact.... Honestly, if the manager would have just admitted to human error and recognized that technically I paid my rent on time since they went ahead and cashed my check, (so I shouldnt even be charged a late fee after all...), I would be able to let it all go, even if I'm screwed w/ the bank...it's just money...but the truth is, the manager was on the defense the moment I got on the phone w/ her...I had talked to someone else prior who gave her the detail before she took the call, and by the way that other rep/assistant could use some uptraining on customer service skills as well. I just think their staff shows how much they dont care at all about their tenants and just how little customer service skills they have. Trust me, I work for a major credit card company, in fact the only one that did profit anything in this laboring economy, where I have to deal w/ plenty worse then any of them had ever had to deal w/ compared to when they talked to me. I could see off bat the lack of training any of them had in customer service. Not to mention, I had talked to my bank right before I spoke w/ them, and I wasnt at all pleasant as a customer in this circumstance, and they still treated me like a valued customer. Maybe some additional training could help...either way, I plan on moving out after my lease is up. I feel like they don't care at all and they definitely have no respect for me as a tenant or value for me as their customer!

If you turned in a check on "Let's say the 5th" but post dated it for the 9th. Either way you didn't have the money in your account for the rent. Pay your rent on time and you won't have any problems. By the way, who gives a rats a$$ where you work. Go back and live with Mommy and Daddy.

Heller...point is, if the check was cashed on time, I shouldnt have had to pay the late fee!
