Good Apartments

I've been living here over six months in the Buckhead Court section of Ashbrook Pointe. I was attracted to the spacious floor plan/layout and courteous management/staff. They also have an all inclusive package with the option of paying on-line (for a small fee).
FLOORPLAN/LAYOUT:
I like the lay-out as mentioned before, but in regards to closet space, for a place that boasts a spacious floor plan, the irony is there really isnt much. So if you have a ton of stuff, opt for an off site storage facility.
The washer/dryer connections are a true convenience, but they have a washer/dryer facility at the leasing office building as well.
The kitchen is nice, you have a built in microwave and dishwasher, but I noticed that the material of the countertops are easily stained and easily scratched.
NOISE:
My experience here has not been bad at all. Its relatively peaceful. During the football season, the high school band across the street was a little annoying, but it was only during that season. Occasionally I hear loud music from the neighbors next door, but I would be a hypocrite if I was to say I did not turn the volume up in my own unit every now and then.
Because the apartments are near High Point Rd. and Four Seasons, there is a lot of traffic noise (loud stereo systems), but hey, comes with the location.
APPEARANCE:
I think the grounds are really nice--most of the time, but because of irresponsible tenants a noticeable amount of trash collects in the parking lots, sidewalks, stairways, and hallways. They (ground keepers) do clean up at least once a week, but...I do believe there needs to be stronger regulation from management.
PRICE:
The proximity to various entertainment/dining venues may be a factor to the higher price of over $800 a month (obviously depending on type of unit/amenities)...but I'm sure there are better apartment communities for less with the same amenities, but include work-out facilities, better pool, less traffic noise etc.
If anything: Check out the website, visit the complex, ask to speak to some tenants, walk through the complex/units, and come up with your own conclusions!
Hope this helps:-)
