When we first moved in 2 1/2 years ago we loved it! The amenities were great and the office staff were always friendly and responsive to any needs or special requests. Since the property was sold to Colonial a little over a year ago things have rapidly gone downhill.

The new staff is rude and ineffective. Often when we have asked for assistance they react as though we are inconveniencing them. We are given sorry excuses for our complaints. They no longer allow for packages to be delivered to the office because they do not want to be inconvenienced. The old staff used to bake fresh cookies everyday in the office. Not anymore! It's too much trouble to even refill the coffee & hot chocolate machines.

Also, the amenities are no longer well maintained. For example, the computer and printer in the resident business center often do not work. The available hours of the movie theater have been cut. The pool is currently unavailable for prolonged maintenance.

The maintenance staff are great people and they work very hard... but they are now stretched too thin. The grounds are not cleaned and maintained as well as they once were.

It's not enough to have a good floor plan and a good location. I expect a little something extra for the extravagant price that I'm paying in rent. Customer service still counts for something in my book, and I do not wish to continue to live in a community where I am not appreciated.
