In the 7 months I was at autumn park I notice its decline in upkeep, and was starting to feel unsafe there at night. Fill 'em up, at any cost! And don't try to get the same answer twice from those running the office, or try to get a correct answer the first time. They will tell you one and do another. Bookkeeping is it or miss and you might get an late notice with notice of fees do even when rent is paid. You will have to show them copies of your cleared checks to get your records straight. And if you have to break a lease like I do, don't count on what they give you in writing to be the truth either. Had to break a lease, and getting the hands out of my pockets ever since has been a nightmare. They make the rules as the go, even when they give you something in writing. Renters beware! My only consolation here is... I am not alone :((

Don't break your lease and you won't have to worry about paying extra money. Oh yeah, learn proper English.

oh GOD are you serious!! I live in Raleigh, used to work for the Property Manager, have been in leasing for 3 years, and cannot believe at how these residents act. DO YOU PEOPLE not read leases! do you not understand that the apartment business is not a day care and cannot babysit you and your decisions to break your lease! i am completely histerical right now, due to the immaturity that some of you ADULTS act like. maybe you all should take a step back, and be on our side one day, but you never will because you have your head stuck too far up your butts.

Learn how to bookkeep. Don't tell people you are taking them to court for failure to pay rent when the rent has been paid. That is horrible. The worst thing a leasing office can do!

Hey, not4nothin - Funny how you talk of proper English. lol The initial post has valid points. Unfortunately, the posting was accurate. I've known people that have provided cleared checks to prove they paid rent. And this was after late fee notices and even a threating letter of eviction. Not fun for someone who PAID their rent.
