When we moved into AP, it was like heaven. The apartment was great, the grounds were beautiful and the staff was very helpful. As time passed, things got so much worse. Cornerstone Properties then "changed hands" and became Colonial Properties and the standard of constomer service was terrible. People moved into the apartment beside and under us that played very loud music day and night. At any give point, I could sit my keys on my glass coffee table and they would shake and fall to the floor. Someone in the conplex would call cabs at least once a week and the cab driver would blow his horn from 5am until 5:30am. The staff would lease out the clubhouse for parties and people would be urinating on cars and screaming. We tried calling the police and they shut down the parties but the cabs and music were beyond their control. We reported each of these problems to management with complete detail. They did nothing. They didn't send a single letter, stop the parties in the clubhouse, NOTHING.

We had to move out before our lease ended so instead of breaking the lease, we continued to pay, although we weren't living there. No big deal to us...Except that I would come to the empty apartment once a week just check the mail and make sure everything was still in place. On one of those visits, I noticed that someone had USED THE TOILET to I don't know #2 or VOMIT or some combination of both! I called the office outraged at this and she says well maybe your husband was here while i'm telling her that NO ONE has keys to this apartment other than ME. She proceeds to tell me that maybe my husband "needed to use the place without my knowledge." She was very rude and short. I ended up having to call the corporate office. Just terrible.

Typical treatment from the management staff at Autumn Park. Have to add that parking is terrible, too. The people next to us have 4 cars and don't bother moving unused cars to a further spot. Count the spaces to the number of apartments and you'll realize there is not enough parking for every apartmant.
