I have really good credit but my boyfriend has somewhat bad credit. He had to pay a full month's rent as a deposit on his last apartment. We both want to be on the lease but I don't want to have to pay a big deposit. Does anyone know how strict they are and what we might expect if we apply'

I would suggest you apply for the apartment and a few months later add his name as an occupant.

typically most places only use one name as the leaser anyway...so do what the first guy said
