My husband & I came across this complex when we got lost looking for another complex Spring '07. The property was still under development so there was not a model to show. The property manager stated they owned an idenitical complex in High Point. We viewed the model there and determined we would go ahead and sign a lease for Battleground North. This is where our nightmare began.
Construction was WAY behind schedule so we were forced to stay in our previous apartment another month until our new apartment was completed. The manager told us we would be compensated for our troubles---that never happend. The apartment has tremendous construction flaws. The wall in the master bathroom is not straight. There is a defined angle in the wall. The 2nd bathroom is TINY!!! There is not enough closet space. Satellites are not allowed. The noise is insane. Barking dogs, people hanging out on the stairwells, loud music!!! And the parking...if you dont make it home before 8pm, you can forget parking anywhere near your apt. I hate this place and would never recommend anyone moving here.

I totally agree with the problem of the parking and there isn;t going to be much for them to do to correct the situation. The walls are thin and my neighbor upstairs above me walks around on his heels so no sleep after 6:30am. Looking to move again myself. On the plus side-the appliances are nice and the electric bills are low for me compared ot my last place.The other problem is that they charge $12 administrtaive fee for reading your water meter----quite alot i would think...considering i use about five dollars a month of water..The noise is pretty bad since some people have no repsect for tohers but that happens no matter where you live--the parking also has naother problem-people parking in the cross marked spaces NEXT to the handicapped spaces because they think this is okay-it is still a place to GET A TICKET..lazy people!!!Oh well sonner or later the cops will catch them and then when they get fined they will all of a sudden not be lazy anymore....
