The comment from 10-15 is 100% accurate

I agree so strongly with the previous posted comment on 10/15 that I feel it needs to be quoted for posterity.
"1) The "updated" apartment. This is just...wrong. We got to tour the model that actually had the updated appliances and were told that the cost to actually rent it was a little bit higher than the normal. We thought that was fine since we could save on energy costs. Upon actually getting our apartment we discovered that were were fortunate enough to have a set of wonderful antiques hooked up in the kitchen. I swear, we're talking about the first dishwasher and range to have ever been invented, they're that old. No amount of "brushed nickle" light fixtures can cover up these relics.
2) The fluorescent light in the kitchen likes to strobe whenever it feels like, or whenever we microwave anything. I don't know whether to start having a crazy techno rave or an epileptic seizure. This thing needs a disclaimer - seriously.
3) Maintenance' When we got the place they had us take a form and fill it out listing everything that was wrong or damaged when we got there, I guess it's things they wont hold us liable for. I was under the impression that these things were going to actually get fixed. I was wrong, we're still waiting for a screen for a window so we can actually open them without fear of things getting in or our pets getting out.
4) Amenities' Fitness room' Business center' Some of the neighbors seem to have gotten these magical "key cards" to get into these places. When we asked about it, the office staff challenged us on whether or not we actually lived here. After having to prove we were really residents and didn't pay rent just for kicks they gave in and gave us a key code to use to get into the fitness center. This code no longer works, and nobody has told us why.
5) The Management Team's concern for your well being - or lack there of. Our place recently got robbed, wait, I've been corrected by numerous law enforcement officers. Our place recently got "burgled" or "burglarized" since we weren't actually on the grounds and there was no force involved (it sure as hell took some force climbing up to the second story balcony and jimmying the sliding glass door). I'm not saying that it's management's fault that our place got broken into but it sure as heck would've been nice to know that a mere two weeks earlier someone's dog had thwarted an attempted break in at our building. I feel I should also interject that the second time around the burglars weren't spooked by the dog, they beat it off with a stick. So that's two burglaries right there, I should probably mention that there was a third, all at the same building. The person whose dog thwarted the would-be (now fully fledged) burglars had told the office what had happened. No fliers, no calls, nothing. When we called to tell them we were told "well crime happens everywhere" actually, we got told to call back in 15 minutes first, then we were told that "crime happens everywhere." I guess the first time it just wasn't important enough."
I would also like to add that the resident whose apartment had the attempted break in 2 weeks ago, the dog that had scared the attempted robbers off, the second time around they assaulted the dog with branches. Could you imagine what they would've done had they expected a person to be there'
