I am writing from experience, #1 being a current resident at Battleground Oaks, and #2 being a victim of the recent breakins. I still do not feel comfortable or secure in my apartment and management has done NOTHING to reassure me. When I spoke to management after my robbery, the first words out of -----'s mouth were, "Well, you know I can't let you out of your lease." Great compassion, -----, I really appreciate it! She comes and goes in her little -----car everyday, hurrying into the car at the end of the day if she sees a resident coming to the office to discuss something. Which brings me to another point---how about working hours where you can actually BE THERE to meet with a resident who has a full-time job' You come to work after everyone is at their jobs and you are long gone before we get home. Way be be accessible! The maintenance here is terrible. Litter is blowing all over the property, the dog waste receptacles are overflowing, and there are beer bottles and cans strewn all over the property. There is one Corona bottle lying on the grass that has been there since I moved in 2 years ago. The landscapers suck, their fall cleanup was hideous and every week I have to sweep around my front door and patio to keep all the leaves from blowing in the door. And their idea of a security fence' Makes me feel like I'm in prison! I am counting the days until my lease expires at the end of this year, and I will tell anyone and everyone I know to stay away from this complex and any other property owned by -------- properties. -----, you should be ashamed of yourself! And --------,you should be ashamed of yourself for hiring such an incompetent manager!

No matter where you live, anyone with common sense knows, management cannot guarantee your safety. It would be foolish on their part to imply that they do. Unfortunately, things have gotten bad all over and we should become more aware of our surroundings. Of course, that is still not going to keep the crook from trying to take something that does not belong to him. Break-ins and home evasions have become more prevalant and we are not ammune to them. The police department cannot even guarantee our safety, how can management?

Interesting isn't it that none of the points I raised are addressed in this response---I think management is working overtime responding to all these negative reviews! Nice try, ----- and --------, but you still suck!

Amen to that man. If ----- was actually doing some work trying to keep the complex decent she wouldn't be violating the rules of this website by constantly putting in anonymous reviews and clicking "I am not an employee" when she does it. What an honest and trustworthy person. I hope -------- fires her for their sake before the complex is completely abandoned.
