Lets see where I can start...From day one had problems with stray cats hanging around mangement did Nothing. OMG The bug problems are crazier then you think ever five mins. you are turning around to kill something that has legs, and did mangement do anything about that..NO, they would tell us that no one who be out to spray our apartment untill next month and to go buy some bug spray until then.And to the person who wrote the nice comment you havent lived there long enough yet, you obviously are blind. ---- is a good maintnance man, but ----- is incompetent. She has no idea how to run an office. And another thing she has ran our children out of the office, there not but 6, 5, and 14 months... she also told them they had to leave because she was calling the law on there mommy. She also stated that any kid who put fingerprints on the glass, there mommy had to clean it up with windex, and this also applied to one other resident. Ok now one month we had fallen behind on some bills and had to go downtown for some help, well ----- had agreed to call the lady the follwing day to verify the payment, she failed to do so, then waited over 3 weeks to tell us she never got the money and we owed them about $1,000.00, or they wouldn't take our rent for that month.WOW good way to treat your resident. Now that she kicked me and my children out of the office she chose to smile in my face and say hello in front of a prospective resident thinking that I am supposed to say hello like nothing ever happened. The people who run Brantley properties wouldn't even help us..they were all for -----. If they sat back and watched her they would see she isnt good mangement. The Office closes at 6pm I've seen her leave 5:30pm alot!!! Takes longer then an hour on lunch. ----- spends 95% of her time sitting and talkin to residents that come up to the business center daily, Thats why nothing gets done around there like it should, and on top of that... not letting us know that 2 apartments had been broken into in a week, the neighbors had to go door to door to let us know then 3 more had the same thing happen to them so we heard. You know I thought when I moved in there that this was a nice place and then they were sold 2 times in a year I knew right then this was going to be a disaster. They even gave us a warning ticket for an unsightly patio or walkway not considering we told them and the grounds people themself to stop throwing grass on our patio when they mowed the grass... nothing was ever done to them but we get a warning' Then there was a letter sent out to our building offering a reward to those who would "bust" on whoever was leaving cigarette butts outside on the property at our building and also stating that whoever did it would receive a 150.00 doller fine' Since when did these people become the police' They can't impose a fine of no sorts but they think they can. Hey guys check your lease also ours stated that they were going to pay for trash removal but we were charged every month from NWP there utility company almost 7 dollers for trash pickup. Our water bill alone was right at 70.00 dollers a month. The city of Greensboro themselves doesnt charge my Grandmother but 21.00 dollers a month for the same water............And for the people who think nothing is wrong with this place what the H*** is wrong with you' You must be F***** ----- to think she has any good management skills..cause she doesnt....I've been a manager before and I never ran a show like she has or my boss would have gave me a pretty pink slip....As far as the break ins u dont wait as long as she did to let the community know whats going on...maybe some of u that think the way u do need urs broken into to see how these others felt who had it done to them and let ----- treat u the way everyone else is getting treated. I disagree with what was written about -----. After the break-ins (which is not the fault of Battleground Oaks or ----- -----) ----- rallied residents together for a neighborhood watch and had trees cut down for better visibility. She informed us of the situation as soon as she knew about it. As for the "bug problem" - I have lived here for over a year and in this time, maybe saw 2 or 3 little spiders. I HATE spiders but I would definitely not call this a problem. It's nature.
