I can not agree more with the previous comments from other tenants on how the apt community is going down hill quickly. When I first arrived to the community through Equity Residential the Management staff and community was grade A. Through the years the community is now considered grade F. It's expected to have maintenance issues in an apt community I mean lets face it there are hundreds of people coming and going. My problem is the response to the issues. There seems to be some sort of prob every other week with heat, ac, door locks not working properly etc... and when you call the reps working get upset with you as if it's your fault and you're bothering them. Once they decide to listen they tell you the prob will be handled within 1 day. You give them 3 to 5 days and they still haven't resolved the issuse, you then call back to find out what happend and they tell you the work order must have been lost or something. The grounds are covered in dog and cat poop. The breeze-ways have SMELLY trash outside. "Shouldn't there be a fine or something for this type of low-class living'" There are couches and chairs on tenants' balcony??s as if it's their 3rd living room. It seriously looks like the ghetto. I mean come on people.... MANAGE your property. I'm not even going to touch on the (drug situation.) Trust me it's obvious. For the poople saying that it's a great place to live..."where are you living' under a rock'" I will not talk about the highway mess that's going on now, because it's really not the fault of the community, but it still remains that it's a MESS... you can't see the sign and the entrance is a broken up mess. Last but not least... the gates have NEVER worked properly. They open and close when they want to. My poor car has been scratched to hell from trying to squeeze through one side. IF YOU CAN'T GET IT RIGHT JUST TAKE THEM DOWN... WHAT IS THE PURPOSE... THERE IS NO SECURITY WITH THEM.
