I was just reading some of these ratings of Bridford Lake and I have to strongly disagree with the way these apartments are rated. I agree that the security gates are usually not working, but come on. Do you really think two flimsy gates, open or closed, really protect you from riff raff' Gates or no gates, if a bad guy wants to come in, they will. You need to get over the way you think a "gated community" will protect you from evil. I've never felt unsafe here, EVER. I've lived everywhere from Houston to New York and everywhere in betweeen, and Bridford is by FAR the nicest and safest apartment I've ever lived in. Our view is gorgeous, on the third floor facing the courtyard. I've never heard any noise from my neighbors. The windows are huge and let in a ton of light. The crown molding and chair rails and paint make the apartment very cozy. When our garbage disposal broke they fixed it in record time. The staff has always been friendly and very accommodating to our requests. I've never seen the dog poop everywhere that people complained about, and the GEESE' are you kidding me' You can't complain about the geese, that's not bridford's problem, that's all north carolina's problem. The market in Greensboro is so competetive that the rent for Bridford is almost laughable. Try telling a friend in NYC that you pay WAY under $800 for a 1br den with the beautiful grounds and gorgeous ammenities. They'll hate you. The last thing, we are basically walking distance to wendover, but when it's night time and you sit on your deck, you don't hear a sound from the street. I love it.
