River Oaks happened to be my first apartment out of college. As a single woman living alone, I felt very safe in this complex (at the time...I'm not sure whether or not times have changed). The apt. was somewhat small for the price charged; however, the additional amenities were well worth the price of the apt. The gym/atheletic equipment, pool, whirlpool/jacuzzi, sauna...all were great. The apts. were very quiet. I enjoyed receiving special gifts for paying rent early. Those gestures were something extra that the management provided to make residents feel special-and I did! My only complaint was ANTZZZZ! You couldn't sit a cup/anything on the floor for a few moments b/c the ants would definitely find it. I remember making a gingerbread house one Christmas and leaving it on the counter only to find it engulfed by ants the following morning. YUCK!!!!
Overall a nice place....
