I lived at Deerwood from 1999-2000, a little less than 1 year. I moved out of town, and the staff was excellent about transferring my name off of the lease, and adding a new roommate, without adding any extra fees.
The reason I moved here was b/c the apartment I was living in was broken into. A
good friend of mine lived at Deerwood, and even though her lease was not up, the staff helped us to transfer into a 2 bedroom with a minimal deposit and transfer fee. It was a very easy process. I loved the floorplan, especially having the bedrooms upstairs and the living area below. It made for more privacy if you were entertaining.
Whenever we called maintenance, they were very efficient.
It was a very quiet area, the only time I really heard any noise was on New Year's Eve, but that's to be expected!
I'm not sure how the place is now, but I would definitely recommend checking them out. The location is great and they have great floorplans!
