I read these comments dating as far back as 2002, I was almost afraid to check them out. I decide to go out see for myself.I must say,We hunted for a two months for an apartment. I visted just about every apartment that offer three bedrooms.When I came to granite ridge I saw the three beds rooms and was dazzled by the SPACE& PRICE! I could not believe the size. the landscape was nice, We got there when school bus let some children out and was not many. Not to say that's good or bad just to say that comment about kids out of control is crazy. Not that many to be out acting crazy, plus if you live in a community with three beds rooms who do you think are the people needing them' Anyway, the pool is cool, the fitness room is small but for the price who cares (go for a walk). The 3 bedrooms is what what we got and I'm in love. The 3 bedrooms have 2 full size bath with lining closets in each one(not some tiny little bathrooms), the 3rd bed has double glass doors and another door in the room that lead out to the balcony or patio, downstairs, should say flat apartment 9inch ceilings that make you feel like you are in a house, The apartment lead upper stairs (which we chose) has a coat closet at the bottom with a alarm & spiral staircase that lead upward with a spot near the top that you can put a plant or vase, vaulted ceilings with a fan in the living room, (the other rooms have 9inch ceilings) gas fireplace, built in book cases another door in the living room that lead to the balcony/patio, molding thru out the place, huge walk-in closets, a window in the kitchen with garbage disposal, dishwasher built-in micawave above the stove,lots of windows all over the place(lots of light) I have new carpet, sky lights in the living room full size washer & dryer conn & it is a gated community. By the way the 3 bed room is over 1400 sq feet for under $900.The Apartments insides are kept up. I could not tell someone else lived there before me. Now someone tell me where I can find a place better priced for the size and features in greensboro north carolina. The layout is well thought out. The one and two beds rooms are in bulidings of there own and the three rooms are layout like mini houses.The 3 bedrooms upstairs have porches with covers. and my nieghbors door is around the side not right next to me, very private.Also the master bed with the bath is not in your living like most stupid designs we saw but is set in the back on one side of the apartmet by itself (just like most houses)I have been to the best of the best and they did not compare to this place.Yes it do have a play ground that is a joke, but FOR THE PRICE and NO OWNERSHIP we will go to the park or play tennis there or take a dip in the pool. again the the grounds are well maintained. The application fee was next to nothing, the deposit was dirt cheap. Now if you are looking to PAY for blush landscape,(and you will be paying for it) with hudge play ground, bally ball sand lots, hudge fitness rooms, Some mega hudge clubhouse that make you want to live it instead of the apartment (granite ridge has nice on too but not crazy big) with over 500 units or more (talk about kids every where) in it, pinic areas with gas grills,car service area that charge arm & leg to use the vac and still hear noise from the neighbors (because these are apartments and nobody is investing in sound proof nothing in apartments),plus pay $700-1200 to keep all this up, oh not to forget to mention paying different prices if you live on the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd floors (sandwiched on top of eacher like sardaines), go on,throw your money away over there to those places. Because last time I check I won't be owning a dang thang at the end of the least term. So we rather keep a few extra bucks in our pocket to save towards ownership of my own home then to worry about little nonsense that some of these people write about. Check them out and other places like I did and make a resonable sound judgement for yourself. Also if you are racist stay away from this place because this is a very well diversed coumminty with all kinds of cultures and We love that the most!!! So pay attention to some of these comments because you do not know what people may be really harboring in their hearts! Also Southwest elementary, middle, and high school has always met there goals and are one of the best school systems in this area A.S
