They make it sound good on paper

I am about to move out of Hidden Lakes at the end of March. I am SO glad to be moving. It sounded good and the model apartment was great, but the actual apartment was HORRIBLE. I moved in to an apartment where the previous tenant had a dog. The carpet in one bedroom was urine stained and where they had cleaned the carpets there was a mound of dog hair around the baseboards. They did not replace the carpet when I complained. The repaint job on the kitchen cabinets had paint runs and looked cheap.the bathroom is paint over wallpaper, wich is peeling and looks awful. My AC went out during the summer and I had to spend 3 days with no AC until they could replace it. My sink drain in the bathroom broke and ruined everything under the sink I owned. I only have good hot water in the summer, winter time requires quick showers. The windows are cheap and leak cold or hot air so either the heat or air is always running, which makes for an expensive electric bill. Loud, rude neighbors. Not to mention the ghetto surroundings. Always afraid of having your car broken into. The apartments behind Hidden Lakes are government housing. The management staff are rude and very rarely even say hello when you walk in to put money on you laundry card. If I had time I could give 100 reasons not to move here. I wish I had done more research before moving here. I am glad to leave.

My fiancee' didnt like the looks of these. I forget what it was that ruled it out of our choices. It might have been small space or inward appearance. WE just viewed it in Feb.2007. Maybe it was a good thing we kept looking.
