The fact that they advertised that they didnt ask for deposits lured me to Hunters Glen when I first moved to Greensboro. I didnt have alot of money or know what areas where bad. They didnt have a model apartment to show, which is usually a bad sign. I was desperate so I applied anyway, of course I was approved. Although I needed to move in quickly, they told me my apartment wouldnt be ready for a month. What'!!!' So I went for it, sleeping on couches and wherever I could until the month was up. During that month I rode through the apartments several times at night. I saw what seemed to be a block party every night and or lots of drug dealers standing outside all in the parking lot. I was desperate as I mentioned before so I reluctantly looked past that.(Ive lived in Atlanta, and a few other bigger cities where crime is worse than here.) I figured I could handle it. One day I went there during the daytime and walked around. There was trash everywhere and the pool was nasty. I went to "my apartment" the breezeway reeked of urine. Still I waited for the month to end so I could end my homelessness. I go back to the office on the day I was supposed to move in and they tell me my apartment wouldnt be ready for another week. I was infuriated. I had waited a month which was longer than I ever waited for an apartment. I went to another apartment complex, applied and was moving in 3 days later. Stay away from Hunters Glenn. I never even moved in and I was given the runaround and head aches by this dangerous, dirty apartment complex. I realized when I moved somewhere else that I was very lucky I hadnt moved into Hunters Glenn.
