I agree with the last posting. Andrea was a great manager. Sandy on the other hand seems to take joy in filing eviction papers. She states that she wants you to keep her notified of what reason you might be having financial difficulty, but it makes no difference, so why'! Not only does she tell you that, but she does indeed have a condescending attitude about it. More than once I have considered letting myself be evicted from Lake Brandt, simply so that I could leave, but only my credit rating fears keep me here. Contrary to the opinion of the last post, though, I did have to pay a security fee because of bad credit, so I am especially trapped in my lease in this overpriced, horribly managed complex.
The facilities are a joke, and while the apartments are okay, there are just as nice places all over greensboro for much much less.
They won't clean the parking lots after a snow... this past time merely driving around in a bulldozer, packing in and smoothing out the snow, thereby making it completely impossible for many drivers to get out of the parking lot because it simply created a smooth ice lane. The "shovelled" sidwalk consists of a 14 inch path, but at least this last time they made some effor at putting out salt.
The pool is constantly closed. The fitness center is a joke, and the nice pictures of the clubhouse.... um.. that would be as fun as hanging out in the office of your landlord... oh wait... it *is* the office of the landlord! The business center isn't. I've never seen such crappy pieces of office equipment passed off as a business center.
We might just sound like a bunch of griping tennants, but there is something that is definitely true about Lake Brandt Apartments - you can get much more for your money elsewhere.
