We were supposed to move into an apartment in September 2008. The Assistant Manager (Mike) recommended this apartment since it was getting totally redone, ie new paint, carpet, cabinets, appliances etc... The remodel was due to the previous tenants being in the apartment for several years (12 years is what we were told). When we arrived 3 weeks later the apartment wasn't ready for move in, it had new carpets and paint but nothing else. The (old) stove, fridge, dish washer, washer and dryer were all dirty. The fride also had a 2 inch wobble. When we took the Manager (Joe) over to look at the apartment he agreed it wasn't ready for move in and said he couldn't spend any more money for new appliances. He did offer to make it right - he had their cleaning person come back in and offered to buy us lunch that day WOOO HOOO... We ended up moving into a different apartment complex a few days later and are very happy here. In the end it cost us an extra $480 dollars, $300 for having the moving truck 3 extra days and $180 for 2 extra nights at the Best Western.
