I have lived at Terrace Mews for a year now. The positives about living here are the apartments are relatively spacious. Maintenence problems are taken care of relatively fast. Overall the inside of the apartments are nice and average. The office staff is helpful. The negatives however are these. One, the parking is terrible at times. Especially on the weekend. There are cars you have never seen before that sit around for days with out of state plates. Another negative is the selection of residents that they allow to live here. Almost makes me wonder if they have started accepting Section 8 housing. Sometimes I feel like I am riding into the ghetto. People hanging around outside on their cars. Cars pulling up with the windows tinted so dark that you can't see inside and then within minutes there is 5 or 6 people hovered around the car. Kind of makes me wonder if there isn't some drug deals going down. Neighborhood kids are out of hand at times. They play ball next to the swimming pool and are constantly letting the balls hit windows, doors and the sides of the apartments. You can't blame the office for the kids but you can blame them for the resident selection. I also made a discovery that we have a sex offender living in the apartments. I found his name on the NC state registry for sex offenders list. Scary! Our lease will be up soon and we don't plan to resign.
