The management and the maintenance people can definitely be "laxed" too often. They make several mistakes with the paperwork and if you ask for help with something, they act like you are bothering them, which is disturbing when a place has a "rating." The owners must be cheap because there is no microwave and a washer/dryer is extra charge. There also are no facilities for social events like an apartment for guests or a room in the office for events.
I think that because the apartments are nice, the staff and the owners believe that the renters should just be satisfied with poor service and accomodations. But living in an apartment is very different from living in a house, so they should try much harder. When I was looking at apartments, the staff at all of the other apartments were much more helpful and nicer.
