I enjoy my time here.

I looked at every apartment complex within 2 miles of the Lodge when I was seraching for an apartment. I liked the location because it is close to Business 40, I-85, and Wendover Avenue and I travel into, around, and out of the city a lot. It's location also puts it close to shopping and dining on Wendover and High Point Road. The rent at the Lodge was cheaper than the other places, and it was just as nice, with only a couple of exceptions.
First, there is no gate. Most of the other communities are gated. To my knowledge, however, nothing serious has happened. I've never seen suspicious people on the grounds and I have always felt safe there.
Also, there is no pool, but this isn't something I require.
The parking can be tight, but there are more than enough spaces and it's never been a problem.
Some of these other reviews complained about employee turnover. There has been one change in the pffice and in maintenance since I signed my lease. The office change happened shortly after signing it. The current staff is friendly and helpful. The socials we have are fun and they put a lot of work into planning and organizing them.
I've never had a serious maintenance problem. The only issues I've had were a dead battery in my security alarm and an outlet that didnt work after a thunderstorm. Both problems were solved before I got home from work the day I reported them.
I've never been bothered by the highway noise, or by any of my neighbors.
