My buddy has been looking for an apartment recently cause UNCG denied him housing. I told him to come live at the square but he told me the reviews online made it sound like a slum. So I check them out and I gotta say I disagree with basically all of them. I've been living at the square for about six months now, and while the management companies have changed around they've really cleaned this place up. They've got all kinds of renovated rooms like game rooms and the kitchen and laundry. And i wasn't able to find anywhere else around UNCG that had so many amenities, they got a pool and a fitness center and game room. For $375/month for my roomie and i and no utility bills to worry about I'm lovin it here.

Plus never having to worry about parking on campus is major plus. They got free parking and shuttles to campus here.

I've been at the square for a while and the assistant manger is one of the rudest people I've ever me in my life. She makes empty promises to get things done and never follows through. Also if you call and leave your name and number with her, forget about being called back. She is evasive because she knows people want to complain about her. Other than that everyone else is really nice, and friendly. The shuttle that takes people to class is great because it is not overly crowded. They have tons of parking, and the tenents are okay. with the exception of the occassional weedhead. They need to fire the assistant manager. She reminds me of a pit bull, in more ways than one.
