In the past this place has gotten a really bad wrap. But it was mostly due to the terrible management that has changed about four times over the last two years. But now The Square has been bought by Campus Advantage, a national student housing company that's really turning the place around. They've talked to the residents numerous times and have really started making fantastic improvements.
Sure it has its problem being in the middle of the city...of course there's going to be a little noise, but living here there's a sense of higher maturity and personal responsibility that you don't get in a campus dorm. And in response to some people who have written a review on this place, none of us living here are expecting the ritz...but what we do have is a very acceptable for a responsible student who can live alone and take care of himself.
It'll take some time, and it's already a great place to live now, but when the Fall 08' school semester begins, The Square is going to be housing of the best quality. Campus Advantage aren't leaving, and their record proves that this is going to be a hot spot. At the moment, it still is great considering the location and the amenities.

The Square was not bought by anyone, its is still owned by the same person, Capmus Advantage is just another management company, they only run it for the owner, but they are trying to improve things, if you ever have a problem here, its usually not the staff or management companies fault, it the owners not wanting to spend money on it, but it is still a pretty cool place to live......
