When i was looking for an apt. i was trying to find the cheap but nice, thought i found it. Ever since my boyfriend and i moved in here we have had a lot of problems. We realized how old these apts. are and the places have settled. which in turn leads to slanted cabinets, cracks down the walls, drafty doors and windows. They only replace the appliances when they completely just dont work. They refuse to replace my oven which has an electrical probelm and only two eyes are currently working. They did however replace my dishwasher only because my dishes were coming out more dirty than they went in. Maintenance doenst seem to be an issue they want to take care of at ALL!!! my bathroom spackled ceiling is also falling down and i have littel bugs coming out from my bathroom cabinet where there isnt a back just empty black space..who knows whats in there.I have to say they spend more money on their landscaping because it does look nice. But then agian if my insides look as crappy as the Woodstreams do then i would make sure the outside lanscaping mad up for it. Another thing i want to add is that they dont require their maintenance staff to were uniforms. I just had an incident where "maintenance" was knocking on my door. ( note: i had not called for maintenance to replace anything) I had noticed this guy around the apt. complex but thought he was an ocupant. I did not answer which then he tried entering through my apt. Immediately called 911. right before they arrived he left without being able to enter. I filled out a report and coem to find out it was a maintenance man who they temperarly hired on. Note that he did not notify through the door that he was maintenance or did he have the right key to enter. Which leads me to assume that they dont appreciate the people they put in these biuldings. They should be requried to identify theirsleves and where unform to eliminate any complications.. I wouldnt go as far as "Hoodstream" but you get what you pay for!
